 Saturday we will have show and tell of projects made in the class
 Some people’s talents are unbelievable 
  
Wire Wrapping:  Ted Klass
 Have had good turnouts 
 Post needs in the hallway
 

Casting and Chain Making:  Terry Paulson
 Casting:  New instructor now
  Beginning class Tuesday

  Jenny McBride had a bunch of students
  The upper cabinets are in place
  The bottom cabinets need work yet, sanding, sealing and varnish

 February 14th meet at exit 69 on Hwy I-10 at 2:00 pm

 Open Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
 Shop closed February 20, 2010 for the cookout

 We have a full class

 We had eight vehicles for the alunite trip
 Next trip – Cookout, stone cabin at mile post 103

 Need drivers for 4 field trips
 One field trip in February will be desert roses

 March 9, 2010 will be last cook-out – will meet at Celia’s gardens

 Motion was made and carried to purchase: 
  Stainless steel sink at $390.00.  
  One set of diamond saws 
  6 “ blades at $63.00 
  10” blades notched at $240.00 
  6 10” wheels for opal shop at $3432.00
  Need agate and basalt for orientation classes
  Need a window pain replaced, need someone to do this
  Monday we will start wiring for the lights
  Wednesday we will make aprons 
 Motion made and carried to post ethics rules in the shop
  Problem with equipment, money and rocks disappearing
  Anyone caught with items not their own will be expelled from the club 
 BLM Land:  Some want the desert closed to people.  Sunriders ATV club and the Public Land for   People organization would like the club’s support by signing their petition and    giving them support.   The Sundriders have offered to mark trails if the BLM will    pay for the equipment.

Announcements:
 Shops will be closed on Thursday February 9, 2010 for the cook – out
 Rule regarding closure of the shops for the cook-out has never been put on in the by-laws
  Dawn Aubrey was presented with a certificate of appreciation for her hard work for the Pow    Wow.
 All volunteers who helped at the Pow Wow are thanked 
 Motion made and carried to raise membership fees to $20.00 and shop fees and pancake breakfast   will be $3.00
 Cal to research the cost of each class’s expenses by next meeting

Roadrunner Store:
 Sold 2 T-shirts, 4 hats, 2 badges, and 3 stickers

Club Facilities:    256 plus use the shops this week

Membership:
 18 new members with renewals for a total membership of 821 for the year

Attendance:
 118 attended today’s meeting

E. Clifford Fausset awarded 14 Door Prizes

Motion made and carried to adjourned at 3:40 PM, Coffee and Cookies available in the Dining Room.
